Klein Bros Fire Roasted Texas Chili
A hearty Texas chili made with Klein Bros Fire Roasted Salsa, Shiner Bock beer, and a bold mix of spices. Perfect for family dinners or tailgate nights
INGREDIENTS:
-
2.5 lbs lean ground venison (or beef if that’s your thing)
-
1 (16 oz) jar Klein Bros. Fire Roasted Salsa
-
1 (14 oz) can beef broth
-
1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce
-
½ cup Heinz ketchup
-
1 ½ to 2 Tbsp chili powder (go bold or go home)
-
½ tsp paprika
-
8 oz Shiner Bock beer
-
1 (16 oz) can pinto beans, with juice

Optional for Serving:
-
Cooked white rice
-
Hot cornbread with butter
-
Fritos + shredded cheddar for a good ol’ Texas Frito Pie

INSTRUCTIONS:
-
Brown the Meat — In a big skillet or stockpot, brown your venison (or beef) over medium heat. Drain off the fat so all you’re left with is pure flavor.
-
Build the Base — Stir in the Klein Bros. Fire Roasted Salsa, beef broth, tomato sauce, ketchup, chili powder, paprika, and that cold Shiner Bock.
-
Add the Beans — Pour in the pinto beans, juice and all, because that’s where the magic is. Stir it all together.
-
Simmer & Blend — Let the chili simmer on medium heat for about 30 minutes, stirring now and then so the flavors get good and cozy.
-
Serve It Up — Dish it over rice, serve it with cornbread, or go full Texas-style with Fritos and cheddar cheese on top.
